In the very merry month of May, I assisted my friend Kevin of Heartfelt Images with a wedding. We went to Melanies parents' house and quickly learned that Melanie would be a beautiful model for us.

 I did not know April was such a busy month! And I loved it! These are a few images from the wedding of very good friends of mine, Phil and Adrienne. It was a blast! Both families were so much fun and Phil and Adrienne had a beautiful wedding.

April and May

Sorry this took so long to get back to. I have been very busy with family pictures (which will come later) and readying my images for my certification application. As promised we are catching up on last year, so here are April and May. I went to a two-day seminar with Jon and Linda Johnson. They are very successful senior photographers and offer seminars every year. Here are a couple images from that fun-filled weekend. They are super-nice people!

Is this cool or what? When the circus comes to Cincinnati, the train has to park several hundred yards away from the arena. Then they walk the animals the rest of the way, right past my apartment building. Anyone who has had elephants in their front yard, raise your hand?

When I returned home in Cincinnati, the weather was a bit warmer, but here is the view from my apartment. Anyone familiar with the Serpentine Wall on the Ohio riverfront will know that the water is a little high.

The Year in Review

Well, all the TV stations show the year in review so why not me, too? I have been planning the blog and picking images to use since last spring. So I want to share a little from each month last year to get caught up. As you probably know, March can be a lion or lamb in Ohio, and these images from March 2011 show exactly that. I went with my buddy John of Dingo Photography and Imaging in Batavia  to Sandusky in his RV for an outdoor seminar. Outdoors in Sandusky in March?  This is what we woke up to. Surprise!!!  So much for outdoor.
